Dive into Fun – Under the Sea

At Royalmont Academy, we are thrilled to announce our very first homecoming event, set against the whimsical backdrop of our ‘Under the Sea’ theme! Scheduled for Friday, September 20, and Saturday, September 21, this landmark event promises to be a celebration filled with excitement, community spirit, and the joy of shared faith.

Why Homecoming Matters

Homecoming is a vibrant celebration that strengthens the bonds between our students, alumni, families, and the wider community. While new to Royalmont – homecoming will become a great tradition to celebrate our mission. It’s a time to reflect on our shared journey, celebrate our achievements, and rekindle old friendships while forging new ones. At Royalmont Academy, our homecoming event is not only a chance to enjoy sports, festivities, and social gatherings but also an opportunity to live out our mission of forming strong Christian leaders.

Aligning with Our Mission

Our homecoming event aligns seamlessly with our mission of forming strong Christian leaders through our four pillars of formation: intellectual, human, spiritual, and apostolic. Here’s how:

  • Intellectual Formation: Homecoming offers a unique opportunity to reflect on our rich history and learn from our past. By reconnecting with alumni and celebrating our shared achievements, we honor the legacy that has shaped Royalmont Academy. This understanding of where we come from empowers us to build a stronger future, reinforcing the importance of learning from our history and experiences.
  • Human Formation: Our Friday night volleyball game, Saturday’s Cross Country match, and even our parent-student kickball game all provide an opportunity for us to live out our Christ-centered values through sportsmanship, giving our very best with God’s given talents and gifts. The recognition of our senior athletes and the various communal activities allow us to celebrate the development of our students into well-rounded individuals. These moments highlight our commitment to nurturing the human aspect of our students through positive reinforcement and acknowledgment.
  • Spiritual Formation: At Royalmont Academy, we believe in sharing the love of Christ and experiencing joy through our community. Our homecoming event provides a space where our faith can be celebrated openly, allowing everyone to experience the joy found in Christ and strengthening our spiritual connections.
  • Apostolic Formation: Our parade and ribbon-cutting ceremony are a testament to our apostolic commitment. They foster a sense of belonging and collective mission, reflecting our goal to build a supportive and inclusive community.
