Catholic Schools Week at Royalmont Academy is more than a celebration. Instead, it serves as a living expression of our mission to form Christian leaders—students who know their faith, live it with confidence, and actively engage the world with purpose and responsibility.
Throughout the week, students across every grade level take part in intentional experiences that connect faith, learning, leadership, and joy. As a result, they grow not only in knowledge, but also in character, responsibility, and leadership rooted in Christ.
Catholic Schools Week begins before the school week even starts.
Students are encouraged to wear their school uniform to Sunday Mass as a visible sign of gratitude for Catholic education and unity with their parish communities.
This simple tradition reinforces a core belief at Royalmont: faith is not confined to the classroom—it is lived.
Each day of Catholic Schools Week includes a theme designed to celebrate students, teachers, and the joy of learning together.
Special incentive: Any student whose Sunday Mass uniform photo is emailed to Mrs. Kinross receives an additional out-of-uniform day on Monday, February 2.
The Perfect North ski trip is a uniquely Royalmont experience—one that blends community, trust, and shared adventure. It is not something most Catholic schools offer, and it reflects our belief that formation also happens outside the classroom.

This final day reminds students that Catholic education is sustained by dedicated teachers who serve with generosity and joy.
While elementary students celebrate daily themes, high school students engage the Church more directly through dialogue, worship, and retreat.
All students participate virtually in the annual Catholic Schools Week meeting with the Archbishop of Cincinnati.
Royalmont seniors join seniors from across the diocese in a live dialogue, asking thoughtful questions about faith, culture, and the challenges facing young Catholics today.
This experience invites students to think critically, engage the Church directly, and witness faithful leadership in action.
Seniors attend Mass at the Basilica of the St. Peter in Chains as representatives of Royalmont Academy.
This is a meaningful opportunity for our oldest students to pray with the wider Church and publicly represent the Royalmont community during Catholic Schools Week.
From January 28–30, Royalmont high school students attend a retreat at the Damascus Catholic Mission Campus.
This retreat is a cornerstone of our high school formation program and alternates with the March for Life experience in different years.
During the retreat, students:
This immersive retreat experience is another example of how Royalmont prioritizes formation that is intentional, relational, and transformative.
Catholic Schools Week reminds us that education is not only about what students learn—but who they are becoming.
At Royalmont Academy, faith, joy, leadership, and community are woven into everyday life. This week simply makes that visible.
