At Royalmont Academy, we do things a little differently—and that’s exactly why our students love it here. Whether it’s diving deep into academics, sharing joyful moments with friends, growing closer to God, or finding ways to serve others, Royalmont is more than a school—it’s a community that shapes the whole person. But don’t take our word for it! Our students have plenty to say about why Royalmont feels like home.
At Royalmont, learning is challenging, exciting, and filled with opportunities to grow. Micah loves how the school balances challenge with fun: “Math, reading, gym—these classes are just perfect for me. They’re challenging and make me smarter by the minute!” Royalmont’s smaller class sizes ensure that teachers can give each student the support they need, whether it’s in hands-on science experiments or creative group projects in art and math.
Lillian, a high school junior, shares how academics and faith come together at Royalmont: “I was able to dive deeply into learning about the Bible in my Scripture class. Every teacher shows how faith and academics are connected, which has strengthened my education and my faith.” This integration of learning and faith helps students develop not just knowledge but wisdom.
Royalmont isn’t just about what students learn—it’s about who they become. Gemma explains, “Royalmont always focuses on virtues that help me grow in faith with God and become more holy. Just being here fills my heart with joy!” From practicing patience in line to working together in group activities, students grow in virtues that will guide them for a lifetime.
Wendy, a seventh-grader, discovered gratitude at Royalmont. “I’ve learned how blessed I am to have everything I do—like food, water, my home, and my education here,” she says. Respect, leadership, and kindness are part of daily life at Royalmont, where students encourage one another to grow as individuals and as friends.
Faith is Royalmont’s heartbeat, and students feel it every day. From weekly Mass to personal time in the chapel, Royalmont offers countless ways for students to grow closer to God. Mary, a sixth-grader, reflects on an evening spent in adoration during a retreat at Camp River Ridge: “It was such a peaceful and beautiful experience. I felt close to God in a way I never had before.”
Therese, a senior, credits Royalmont with helping her stay strong in her faith: “If I had not been in Royalmont’s faith-filled environment, I would have probably lost my faith. The reverence and sense of community here strengthened my understanding of and commitment to the Catholic Faith.”
For Brody, even simple moments like adoration strengthen his connection with God: “These experiences help my friendship with Jesus grow stronger.”
Royalmont doesn’t just teach students to believe—they teach them to act. From participating in retreats to the March for Life, students live their faith in meaningful ways. “The trips and retreats help us step out of our comfort zones and focus on growing our relationship with God,” Lillian shares. “It’s amazing to experience faith through service and action”.
Brody agrees, saying, “Camp River Ridge and the ski trip are just some of the ways Royalmont has helped me grow closer to God and serve others.” These experiences prepare students to become leaders in their communities and the world.
