Royalmont Academy 30th Anniversary: 30 Years of Mission

This year marks the Royalmont Academy 30th Anniversary, celebrating 30 years of faith-filled Catholic education, formation, and mission. Since 1996, Royalmont has grown from a small parent-led school in Cincinnati’s Oakley neighborhood to a full PreK–12 Catholic academy in Mason. Every step of the journey has been guided by our mission: “Bringing Souls to Christ by forming Christian leaders.”

Our Mission: Bringing Souls to Christ for 30 Years

Royalmont is a proud member of the Regnum Christi family of schools, grounded in the Integral Formation® model of education. We believe in forming the whole person—intellectually, spiritually, humanly, and apostolically. From the earliest learners to our high school graduates, we strive to form strong, faith-filled leaders who answer Christ’s call and make an impact in the world.

Our motto, Semper Altius (Always Higher), captures the heart of who we are. We seek not only academic excellence but the transformation of each student into a person of virtue, mission, and joy.

A History of Growth and God’s Grace

  • 1996 – Founded in Oakley by Catholic parents desiring a school centered in faith.
  • 1998 – Moved to Church Street in Mason to serve a growing community.
  • 2002 – Relocated to a larger building on Western Row Road.
  • 2009 – Joined the Archdiocese of Cincinnati’s system while remaining an independent Catholic school.
  • 2012 – Established a permanent home at the former Mason Heights Elementary building.
  • 2014 – Opened Royalmont High School, the first new Catholic high school in the region in nearly 50 years.
