Forming Students to Make a Difference Right Now

Catholic School Mission to Form Leaders Starts Early

At Royalmont Academy, we live the Catholic school mission to form leaders every day—not just in theory, not just later in life, but right now. From preschool through high school, we believe students are not just preparing for leadership—they’re already leading.

Whether it’s helping a classmate in Kindergarten, standing up for a friend in middle school, or mentoring younger students in high school, our students are learning that leadership is about how you live, not what title you hold.

Catholic Education Is About Forming the Whole Person

We’re not just an academic institution. As a Regnum Christi school, Royalmont Academy forms students through four dimensions: Intellectual, Human, Spiritual, and Apostolic formation.

This is the heart of the Catholic school mission to form leaders:

  • Intellectual: Think clearly and seek truth.

  • Human: Grow in empathy, responsibility, and virtue.

  • Spiritual: Know Christ and live your faith with joy.

  • Apostolic: Use your gifts to serve and lead in your community.

Even the Young Can Lead: Saints Who Lived the Mission

At Royalmont, we often remind our students that age is no barrier to greatness. The Church is filled with young saints—boys and girls who lived their mission long before they were adults. Here’s a look at a few who might be walking our halls today:

Age 4–5 (Preschool–Kindergarten)

Blessed Antonietta Meo (“Nennolina”)
Despite losing her leg to cancer, she wrote heartfelt letters to Jesus. Her joy and trust in God would inspire any preschool class today.

Age 5–7 (Kindergarten–2nd Grade)

St. Jacinta Marto
Just 7 years old during the apparitions of Our Lady at Fatima. Her prayerful heart and deep compassion for others would place her in our second-grade religion class.

Age 9–11 (3rd–5th Grade)

St. Francisco Marto
Jacinta’s older brother, age 9 at the time of the Fatima visions. He loved silence and prayer, especially in front of the Eucharist—perfect for a fourth grader preparing for First Communion.

St. Maria Goretti
At age 11, Maria forgave the man who attacked her, even as she lay dying. Her strength and mercy would challenge our fifth graders to love deeply and forgive freely.

Age 12–13 (6th–7th Grade)

St. Dominic Savio
A joyful student of Don Bosco who lived simply and fully for God. In 6th or 7th grade today, he’d likely be leading by quiet example in the lunchroom or on the field.

St. Tarcisius
A young boy who died protecting the Eucharist. If he were alive today, he might be an altar server at school Mass—showing profound reverence in small, daily ways.

Age 14 (8th Grade)

St. José Sánchez del Río
Our patron saint, who stood firm in his faith during the Cristero War in Mexico. Today, he’d be an 8th grader preparing for Confirmation, showing that courage and conviction don’t require age—they require love.

The Blessed Virgin Mary
Though Scripture gives few details about her girlhood, tradition tells us Mary was very young—likely just 14—when she gave her “yes” to God. Her openness and courage began long before that moment. Today, she’d be one of our first communicants, quietly becoming the most important “yes” the world has ever known.

Age 15 (High School Freshman)

Blessed Carlo Acutis
A modern teen and tech whiz who built a website to share Eucharistic miracles. He reminds us that holiness is possible in a digital age—and your gifts, even online, can glorify God.

These saints didn’t wait for permission to live their mission. They just said “yes.”
That’s what we invite our students to do, too.

Your Child Can Make a Difference—Starting Now

At Royalmont, we form leaders in the present tense. Our students learn that being a leader doesn’t require a title or age—it requires the willingness to serve, the courage to do what’s right, and the humility to follow Christ.

Whether it’s sharing a toy in preschool, leading a group project in middle school, or standing up for someone in high school, we’re here to help your child become the person God created them to be.

Because leadership doesn’t begin someday.
It begins now.
